Instructor Bio

A Proactive, Dynamic and Results oriented Professional Civil/Structural Engineer with 8 years of experience in engineering analysis design and detailing of consultancy, construction & skill development in infrastructures like Residential, Commercial, Institutional (School, College, Hostel), Devotional structures (Mosques, temples), Shell & Dome structures ,Retaining Structures (Earth & Water) Infrastructures (metro-stations, bridges & drainage structures) Retrofitting. Industrial Projects (PEB/Warehouse, Oil & Gas Power plants, Silos supporting structures , Pipe Racks structures , Duct supporting structures. Dynamic Machine foundation, Reactor structure. Compressor Shelter).

His engineering practice work focuses on the advanced nonlinear seismic analysis and design of large, complex, earthquake resilient, and seismically isolated structures.

Highly skilled & innovative in the areas of structural design with expertise in ETABS, SAFE, SAP 2000, PERFORM 3D, RAM Connection, STAAD PRO Connect Edition, RCDC, PROKON, CSI Bridge, CSI Detailer CSI COL, Abaqus, Dlubal R-Wind, Tekla Structure, Revit Structures, AutoCAD and BIM Technologies.

Proven experience as a technical leader in various International codes like ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, IBC, FEMA, ATC-40, CEBFIP, BS & IS codes.

Having worked on projects U.S. Middle East, European, Indian region.

Examine structures at risk of collapse and advise how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure.

Experience in detailed drawings RCC/Prestressed/Steel and composite structures of foundation, pier, pier caps, abutments, metro-stations, staircases & all other structural drawings.

His work focuses on the performance-based evaluation of built facilities under extreme loads e.g., severe earthquakes and winds. He studies seismic hazard and vulnerability assessment, nonlinear modelling and seismic analysis of structures, dynamic behaviour of complex systems, and other related aspects of seismic risk.

Areas of Interest: Earthquake engineering, structural dynamics, seismic performance evaluation of tall buildings, nonlinear modelling of structures, software development, and seismic hazard and vulnerability assessment.
